- The only hinge on the market that’s greaseable for long life and smooth operation
- Heavy-duty bronze bushings can be quickly and easily replaced in the unlikely event that bushing wear occurs over time
1 HD Morryde Spare Tire Carrier
• Strong, but lightweight
• Adjustable Heavy Duty Spare Tire Carrier – Two mounting positions – lower position will support most spares up to 37” and higher position will support most spares up to 40”
• Designed to be used with the HD Tailgate Reinforcement and Heavy Duty Tailgate Hinges, but can mount directly to the factory tailgate
• Comes with an adjustable third brake light stalk which accepts the factory brake light, adjustable to be visible over 40” tires

• Eliminates weak points in the factory tailgate and hinge system
• Retains the factory look of the Jeep
• Compatible with the factory spare carrier (or upgrade to the Heavy-Duty Spare Carrier for even more strength)

Amazing Setup! I had the Teraflex HD hinge carrier on a previous JK and believe this setup is even better quality and heavier duty. I especially like that the hinges are greaseable! I am loving my new MORryde Retrofit Offroad Heavy Duty Tailgate Hinge Reinforcement kit! Like others have said – I highly recommend! Best quality hinges on the market and at the best price!

I looked around a while before deciding on this kit. Other hinge kits with tire carriers reuse the stock hinges, which didn’t appeal to me. Everything about this kit is solid, and extremely well built. The fit and finish are excellent as well. Installation is pretty intuitive and straightforward. Also, Retrofit Offroad were great to work with, and they had the kit to my door two days after purchasing. I look forward to future purchases from MORryde and Retrofit Offroad.

Works perfectly. I had a Rugged Ridge heavy duty tire carrier/reinforcement setup and it was rattling all over the place. I bought this, installed it thanks to the great video on youtube showing how to do it, and have 0 squeaks, 0 rattles, 0 problems. This is the best solution for those who don’t want a tire carrier or simply just do not want to spend 1000 bucks on one.
